Pastor Dave Baker

Pastor Dave Baker was born in Columbia, TN where he grew up in Santa Fe just outside the town limits.  When he was twelve, his family moved to Ft. Madison, IA.  From there he went into the Army eventually becoming a paratrooper.  Having enough with all the world has to offer, Pastor Baker got right with God and surrendered to preach.  While attending college at Hyles-Anderson in Hammond, IN, he was led of the Lord to start the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Columbia, TN where he did in 1993.  He and his wife Laura have eleven children; David, Sarah, Alyssa, Jonathan, Mark, Darick, Grant, Laurissa, Cameron, Janessa and Carson.  Pastor Baker has been pastoring the church for seventeen years and is continually looking forward for what God has not only in the lives of the church members, but for our community as well.

Asst. Pastor Steve Wipf

Steve Wipf was saved while serving in the U.S. Navy.  Feeling God's call on his life while attending Pastor's School, he decided to attend Hyles-Anderson college in Hammond, IN where he graduated from.  While at HAC, Bro. Wipf had the privilege to learn under the leadership of Dr. Jeff Owens ministering through local Bible Clubs.  After graduating from Hyles-Anderson, he moved to Columbia, TN where he has been active at Lighthouse Baptist Church since his arrival.  Bro. Wipf is currently the Assistant Pastor, Missions Director, LBA Administrator, Sunday School teacher and a bus captain.  He and his wife Peggy have six children; Craig, Joshua, Jason, Caleb, Jeffrey and Cedric. 


Asst. Pastor David Corbin

David Corbin is an assistant Pastor here at Lighthouse Baptist Church.  David came here in 2007 being a teenager here years ago attending our school.  After graduating from Lighthouse Baptist Academy, he went on to attend and graduate from Texas Baptist College under the direction and leadership of Dr. Bob Gray.  David is married to his wife Katy and they have two beautiful daughters Taylor and Kendall.



Gary Holman

Gary Holman came to Lighthouse Baptist Church in January of 2000 after being a Columbia native since 1998.  Bro. Holman was saved December 8th, 1974 and felt God leading him into evangelism shortly after.  His preparation took him to Tennessee Temple University where he majored in Bible and minored in Psychology under the leadership of Dr. Lee Roberson.  Bro Holman has served as an adult Sunday School teacher, Head usher and helped to establish our radio station WVOO FM 107.1.  In 2004 he was ordained to the Servants Board and was licensed to preach in 2005.  Gary currently teaches in our Jail Ministry and is the Director of our Reformers Unanimous Chapter, a faith-based Christ centered addictions program.  Bro. Holman has a heavy burden for the addicted and religiously lost.
